Acura TL, My Next Vehicle?

I’ve been saying that I’m going to drive my SL2 into the ground, but recently I’ve been noodling with the idea of buying a new car. I’ve currently got my sights set on the TL. It’s a mid-size luxury sedan from Acura. A bit bigger than what I’m used to but with far nicer appointments. The official site is incredibly slow, even on a decent machine. There’s some decent information on Wikipedia about the series.

Bottom line, it’s a really nice car. Slick looking and with relatively low road noise. Configured with all the bells and whistles, it’s just under $40,000 new. That’s $25,000 more than my last car cost new, custom-built for me. There are certified pre-owned vehicles as well which are covered by a just-a-long-if-not-longer warranty. There are a couple 2006 models with navigation and about 10,000 miles on ‘em for around $30,000. I’m seriously tempted.
