So Close to a Break

After several months of non-stop work, this year’s Rock N’ Roll Revival is coming to a close. I’m actually looking forward to having a few days off, versus running 16 hour days every day. But tomorrow isn’t the beginning. I’m renewing my license in the morning. My FiOS install is tomorrow between 1 and 5. Then we’re tearing out the deck starting at 7ish. So close, but not quite there.
I’m planning a low-key movie night this weekend. The last two weekends have kicked my ass. I’m exhausted. It’s high time to kick back and relax a bit. If somewhere were to fall asleep and fall off the couch, that’d be enough excitement for me. The Departed is on the docket; I don’t feel like having to pay 100% attention to a movie, I’d rather have something I can space out during without missing anything good. Good movie, though.
Lame as it sounds, I’ve got a few Post-It notes fills with things that I want to write about. Once my break begins… speaking of breaks, these guys are sick.
