Emma Watson is the New Lindsay Lohan

I predict that Emma Watson — who plays Hermione in the motion picture adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s bestselling series — will be in and out of rehab before the filming of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is completed.

I fear that she’ll follow in the footsteps of Lindsay Lohan. Remember when Mean Girls busted out onto the screen, rather literally? Everyone was thinking “damn, who is that?” Three years later she’s being arrested for another DUI and possession of cocaine. It’s like those Hanson kids all over again.
Hollywood creates some (not a lot, albeit) great entertainment but breeds so many other problems.
Watson is young, attractive, sitting on a pile of money so large that she claims she could retire now (with a net worth in the $20M range), and just as vulnerable to the limelight as anyone else. The last movie isn’t slated until 2010. I doubt she’ll make it three years without some sort of incident.
That is my prediction.

u think so? maybe. it’ll depend on whether her family helps keep her head on straight. but, yes, she’ll be likely tabloid fodder somehow.
