We Need More Arists Like Sandi Thom
Aug 8th, 2007 by Alex
I remember the first time I heard Sandi Thom singing her song “I Wish I Was a Punk Rocker” on WRNR several months back. She was a refreshing change from some of the garbage that I find while surfing my radio dial. The tune was simple and elegant. I turned the volume way up. I recently heard her tracks included on T4E mixes — which I’ve been horribly addicted to for the past several weeks — and it got me thinking again. Her voice is crystal clear, her message poignant. Better still, the songs don’t suffer when they’re done acoustic.
She makes me want to order a bunch of nag champa.
We need more artists like her.
