From the Things That Suck Department

Listening to the soundtrack from Garden State, grooving to Thievery Corporation. That obviously doesn’t suck, but it certainly helps insulate me from the following.
My hot water heater is leaking water and might be on its last legs. The base shows signs of rust and the concrete below has signs of calcium build-up from water that has been leaked and evaporated over a period of time. There isn’t any sign of external condensation and the overflow spout is clean as a whistle. I might be able to salvage it but it isn’t worth the risk of loosing 50 gallons of hot water into the space under the stairs. Replacement is scheduled for tomorrow.
After a decade trying to reinvent internal processes, GM has killed Saturn. The cars are still being sold under the Saturn brand but they aren’t being produced in Spring Hill anymore and they’re more or less a distributor for Opel.
I have two mosquito bites that are beyond aggravating. They’re on the underside of my foot, right on the soft spot on the near the insole. You aren’t supposed to itch them but I can’t help it if I need to walk somewhere. I have no idea how a mosquito got me there unless I stepped on it.
Those three things aside, I’ve been in a great mood today for reasons unknown. Unshakably good.
Hot Water Heater…done!
