Musical Inspiration for a Rainy Night

I wasn’t able to find anything good on the radio while driving home in the rain tonight. Somehow I got thinking about quirky songs and a few lines popped into my head. Lines from songs that I don’t have ripped to MP3 at home, unfortunately. Songs that I might occasionally get to hear on the radio. Thankfully for moments like this, YouTube exists.
From Underwear Goes Inside Your Pants by Lazyboy, “I’m predicting some problems during the job interview” and “that’s why I’m going to use it for!”
And from Elvis is Everywhere by Mojo Nixon, “Elvis needs boats… Elvis needs boats…” and “Elvis is in your genes” (or was it “jeans”)…
I like quirky stuff like this. I may not have been able to listen to them in the car, but when I got home I was smiling.
