I think the denatured alcohol takes the cake. I can't believe people really drink that stuff. Good god, I use it as fuel for the fondue pot. BLECH.

Carol: I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth just then. I don't know what's worse, Boone's or MD-20/20. And cooking wine? Are you hosting?

IntangibleArts: While we weren't using the scientific methods or wearing safety goggles, our "fiercely awesome" crew were all experienced consumers of consumer-grade beverages. Don't try this at home, kids.

...and here it is proven just how deadly dangerous "service journalism" can be. Some fiercely awesome research there. Wish I had thought of it...

Eew. My tummy went all funny just thinking about it.

Jon: Aww yeah, second only to the 8-year.

DJ: The last night I had tasted any of these variety was on our Thursday nights. Why we opted to play with those instead of HL is beyond me.

yellojkt: Mmm I think that Mike's is a mail beverage, not a malt liquor. There are legal guidelines for what may be called beer vs. malt liquor (and probably vs. malt beverage). My understanding is that malt liquor is brewed with an artificially high ABV (thus cannot be called beer) whereas malt beverages aren't brewed at all.

King Cobra billboards were everywhere when I worked in south Atlanta. Technically Mike's Hard Lemonade is a malt liquor.
