Mac Products are Seeking from My Subconscious

Is the screen on your iPod Nano too small to watch movies?
So that’s what popped up on the YouTube home page when I went to search for the actual video I was looking for… now on with it…
A half-dozen of us huddled around an iPhone at the diner last night and watched the following video. It’s from Idiocracy, a straight-to-DVD wonder from Mike Judge (creator of Beavis & Butthead as well as Office Space). They’ve going to attempt to DVR it off HBO so that we can watch it this weekend. It’s so over-the-the-top absurd you can’t help but choke on your coffee.
I like the MacBook. It’s pretty and the keys don’t make a clicking noise when you press them. I want one.
Isn’t Idiocracy such a gem! The reasons that it went straight to DVD like it did are still shrouded in mystery. It’s especially strange when you consider how good Mike Judge’s work has been to Fox (like King of the Hill). Just as wry and keen as Office Space, it’s a shame so few people have seen it.
Idiocracy is enjoyable. Not nearly as good as Office Space though. But well worth the time to watch it.
Jon: I wouldn’t know, I haven’t seen it yet. I’m hoping to catch it this weekend. According to IMDB, it tested horribly originally and was only released to a few minor cities (i.e. not New York, San Francisco, etc). Weird, considering that Mike Judge has written all sorts of popular movie/TV stuff for Fox in the past.
I, too, want one. Long time no comment, but I still read your blog! I haven’t been the best blogger in the world recently, but I am working on getting my groove back.
I recently lost my iPod too…Alas! My heart has been bleeding slowly from a horrible death of loss ever since…
Until of course, I convinced myself that the only way to cure my saddened heart would be to …buy the 160 GB iPod.
