Too Much is Happening
Sep 19th, 2008 by Alex
I find writing to be relaxing and therapeutic, but lately I just haven’t been able. I’ve had a lot on my mind lately. It doesn’t help that the makeup of one my team (at work) is changing and it’s leaving me feeling stretched a little thin.
Six Flags is fun. Too much, perhaps. It took several days worth of sleep to recuperate.
It’s a few days later than I expected, but DJ was selected — through a few rounds of random sequencing — as the winner of the What’s in the Case? contest. Best bets based on components and research are that the device in the case is an early communications device for an individual who is both deaf and blind, circa late 1970’s to early 1980’s. Geek that I am, I still want to pop the faceplate to see the innards.
Though I’m not sure what sort of drink DJ will request, I’ll be in Rochester for a wedding in the upcoming weeks so I’m sure we’ll settle it then. I feel this will be much better than attempting to mail a beverage through the mail, though I do have a close friend who reportedly attempted such a feat.
Thanks to the recent Acura commercial, I’m hooked in the intro to this song by Citizen Cope. I dig the piano.
Thankfully, it’s Friday.
Wondered when you’d post again. I was going through withdrawal.
For some reason I need ketchup now. I think.
