Observation #9 - Transformers Ads

In the course of one hour of Comedy Central — watching Christian Finnegan — I observed no less than six advertisements with Transformers themes. Six ads in less than sixty minutes. That’s pretty heavy rotation, considering the movie is already out.
It seems like that’s a lot of different companies and products to be merchandised and marketed using characters from a movie. Two pairs of different ads for Burger King, one for M&Ms, and one for a video game. Absent were the ads for the LG Versa. I guess each represents a different arena (fast food, candy, gaming, and electronics), but it still seems like a lot.
