It’s Halfway On

I’m going my cousin’s wedding next month in Iowa. Just put the RSVP in the mail the other morning. I hope to be booking a flight out there in the next couple days, trying to coordinate with the rest of the family. In addition to being super stoked for my cousin, I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again. I don’t get out to the mid-west much (and by “much” I mean “at all”), and now that all of my cousins are grown up our small differences in age really don’t matter as much anymore. It’s only been about a year since I last saw everyone, but I’m curious to see what everyone is up to.
I’m looking forward to it.
Afterward, I’m going to hang out with my buddy in Chicago for a couple of days. Do a little sightseeing. Have a few meals out. Take some photos. Do it up right.
I’ve got a plane ticket from Chicago to Baltimore.
How exactly I’m getting to Chicago — approximately a 3.5 hour drive from the wedding and reception — is somewhat up in the air at this moment, but I’ve got a ticket home.
There’s something exciting about not having the entire plan figured out. But I’m definitely going.
I just got back from Chicago. There is way too much to see and do there.
yellojkt: My second trip out in as many years, I’m making a list of things to check out. Any ideas?
