Visuals of Second Chance Saloon
Feb 20th, 2010 by Alex
Second Chance Saloon is a nice little neighborhood joint, tucked back in the folds of Columbia. They’ve got live music, decent prices, specials, and best of all a kitchen that delivers.
For the most-part, the photographs speak for themselves.
Second Chance Nachos, consisting of “tortilla chips piled high and topped with seasoned beef, cheddar jack cheese, jalapenos, sour cream (withheld, above), onions and [their] homemade salsa.”
Two entrees, split in half for sharing.
The Second Chance Grilled Chicken Wrap doesn’t have any fancy ingredients, but doesn’t need any. The melted cheese and juicy chicken provides all that’s needed to pull together the onions and green peppers, no sauce or seasonings required.
Johnny K’s Texas Hots aren’t hot as in spicy, merely all beef hot dogs with a sweet Texas-style chili infused with cinnamon, but great for sharing over a beer. Despite being included with most entrees, the handmade chips deserve special mention; thick and crunchy with a touch of salt, they are delicious. Don’t sub them out for anything.
A Chocolate Lava Cake, from the specials menu. Enough said.

Oh man, when I went there last week, the lava cake was *not* that fancy. It was still delicious, though!
