From time to time I run little contests on this blog. I see them as a fun way to give back something tangible to the people that visit. These contests were first announced in June 2008.
Prizes
The prizes are usually small. Nothing huge like $1000 cash prize or a plasma TV, more like $5 gift certificates to Amazon or Starbucks. From time to time I come across some electronic equipment fit to give away as prizes.
Entry
Entry is usually in the form of a comment or trackback, but occasionally might require you to mail something to me (like a postcard, for example).

It could be you, though there’s nothing going on at the moment.
Past Winners
- 09/17/08 - DJ won a free drink (exact beverage to be determined in a few weeks) for his assistance in figuring out what’s in the case.
- 07/16/08 - Paul won a pair of song downloads from iTunes for his super-sweet-like-a-ninja caption.
- 06/30/08 - Lothian Lurker won $5 at Starbucks for her random postcard.
The contests are very informal and just for fun. If you have any ideas or would like to donate some sort of prize, please leave a comment or write me an email.
