Ever heard of weekday vegetarianism?
I hadn’t, but it’s a neat concept. Especially for those folks who like the health aspects of a vegetarian lifestyle put can’t start to think about giving up meat. I know I like my bacon extra crispy.
This four minute video lays it all our without being too preachy.
Naturally, there’s a blog [...]

Today marks the six year anniversary of this blog.
No formal remarks, but instead a few thoughts about getting past the half-decade mark.
Six years of rants and musings, without care for substance. Longer still if you count the predecessors to this site; technically, I’ve been blogging since June 9th, 2002. I found it hard to believe, [...]

I’ve been rediscovering things all weekend.
After a recommendation of a New York pal, I was looking at a “nifty fifty” lens for my camera. He said (and I’m paraphrasing slightly) that it changed his world. After taking a few unlit shots with a friends D80 on Friday evening and seeing how bloody crisp and fast [...]

I’ve been absurdly busy the last week or so and I’ve had no time or energy to write much of anything, but there are a few things to be mentioned.
Technical work for Rock ‘N Roll Revival XX is in full swing and we’re making good time. I’ve become something of a photographic madman, taking pictures [...]

I like that the White House has a blog. I like knowing what’s going on without having to watch hours of C-SPAN. Seriously, who has time for that? I really like that there’s an RSS feed for it. It would be a lot better if it were a full text feed, however.
So this morning I [...]

I find it interesting how many little services scour the Internet for blogs and then include them in their directories. Today I found another one: Blogged.com. It was mentioned on Mashable back in February, so it isn’t that new but today was the first time I saw a reference to it. I turned AdBlock off [...]
