The recipe for any Mongolian Grill is simple: hit up the buffet-style tables and pack whatever you want into the bowl, be it vegetables or meats or seasoning sauces or any combination thereof, then watch as the cook fries it up on a huge iron griddle and brings it back to the table. Indulge, enjoy, [...]

When going to a place named Fatburger, you make some assumptions about the experience before you pull into the parking lot. You expect the burgers to be top-notch, large, and possibly greasy. In short, Fatburger didn’t meet any of my expectations.
The Fatburger itself is a third of a pound of fresh ground beef, served atop [...]
Per my roommate’s recommendation, I discovered that Hickory Ridge Grill prepares a mighty fine gyro. One of the best I’ve ever had in fact, second only to those at Chris’ Charcoal Pit (and that’s a tall order, folks).
The assembly of a gyro (pronounced “yee-roe”, please) isn’t too complicated and doesn’t take long, but the difference [...]

From the moment the 8-bit Universal logo hits the silver screen and the 8-bit version of the melody fills your ears in digital surround, you know that Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is going to be excellent.
To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect. With a tag-line of “an epic of epic epicness,” can [...]
I went to Victoria Gastro Pub for lunch today with some coworkers. While a tad too fancy for my day-to-day tastes, I liked it. The food was flavorful and filling. Servers dressed in black, providing excellent table service.
After eating at Hot Doug’s in Chicago, I was ready to try a Bucket of the Duck Fat [...]

For the most-part, the photographs speak for themselves.
Second Chance Nachos, consisting of “tortilla chips piled high and topped with seasoned beef, cheddar jack cheese, jalapenos, [...]
I had heard about House of India before. Good things, mostly. The word of mouth sort. I had read a favorabe review by a blogger whose tastes tend to resonate with mine. According to their web site, Shyam Prakash — the chef there — even had the privilege of cooking spicy lamb vindaloo for President [...]
Don’t let the garish and almost comically blood red exterior fool you, Hunan Manor in Columbia is worth a visit. If you’ve got a group of eight or more, try the family-style dining. It’s a very reasonable way to try a lot of different dishes and it feels more like home even when you’re eating [...]
The Dog Pub — formerly the Thirsty Dog — just opened a second location in Columbia in September. Just around the traffic circle from Nottingham’s, The Dog Pub is open from 11am-2am daily. If a trip to Federal Hill isn’t in the cards or if you’re in one of the surrounding business parks and need [...]
