If snow — or worse, the mere threat of it — causes a cancellation of this weekend’s festivities, I’m going to be irked.

I take comfort in seeing a big mess when I come downstairs in the morning, following a party. As clean and tidy as your guests may be normally, in the midst of a heated discussion or story people aren’t usually concerned if their empty glass ends up in the sink of if their paper plate [...]
I haven’t been driving as much these days which is better for my wallet. I noodled with the idea of taking the bus to work, so I did some quick calculations. It’s sad, but I determined that it is more cost effective for me to drive to work than to take mass transportation.
Bummer.
